The Managing Director of BARNES Bulgaria, Nevena Stoyanova, took part at BalREc 2021

BalREc 2021 - Investment and Real Estate Market Conference Bulgaria 2021 - the most significant event in the field of real estate was held on October 26 at Hyatt Regency Sofia.

As every year, it brings together managers of agencies, investors, economists and specialists in urban planning and architecture, who define trends and discuss possible directions for development and improvement of the urban environment.



Nevena Stoyanova, Managing Director of BARNES Bulgaria, took part in the most important panel "Modern lifestyle, living environment and housing product: creating value through investment in sustainable and modern living environment" along with arch. Zdravko Zdravkov, Chief Architect of Sofia Municipality.

During the discussion, important topics related to urban planning and the development of the modern city were touched upon. Arch. Zdravkov presented the new goals, ideas and projects for the change of the appearance of Sofia and the increase of the quality of life of the citizens of Sofia.

The attitudes of buyers in the high market segment were also discussed. Nevena Stoyanova commented that they are looking for both a protected environment and many amenities, which leads to increased demand for properties in premium residential complexes.

Another main topic was the requirement of customers for high energy efficiency of buildings and green energy.
